Do you go gaga for glitter and face-paint, or is a slick of brow gel and a flush of blush all the colour you need?
At London Fashion Week, designers chose both beauty looks: bare-faced models beamed from the catwalk at shows including Christopher Kane, Giles and Thomas Tait while at Louise Gray, Meadham Kirchhoff and Michael Van Der Ham, it was more a case of anything goes, with stick-on metallics and Crayola shades galore on cheeks, lips, eyes and in some cases, the whole face.
